We build decision-making frameworks that make clear who decides what, how people are heard first, and how cultural authority is respected, so decisions are faster, fairer and hold.
Many of the conversations an organisation avoids are really about decisions: who made them, how, and who was not part of them. A clear decision-making framework takes that uncertainty away. We work with boards, executives and teams to set decision rights, delegations and consultation pathways that fit the organisation and the people it serves.
For First Nations organisations, and those working with them, we build in cultural authority: where Elders and community are consulted, where they decide, and how that is recorded. The framework is written to be used in the moment, not filed away.
The same three steps we use in every room, applied to how the organisation decides.
We listen to how decisions are made now: who is involved, where they stall, and who is not being heard.
We facilitate the leadership group to agree decision rights, delegations and consultation pathways, and write them into a framework.
We test the framework on real decisions and refine it, so it becomes how the organisation works.
